The scent of jasmine sambac is more intense and oriental than that of its relative, Jasminum grandiflorum. One drop is enough to transform a living room into a field of jasmine. Its properties are comparable to those of jasmine, but somewhat more radiant and fresher. The star-shaped flowers are used to perfume “jasmine tea” in China.
