Body and skin care

Always use essential oils diluted on the skin and do not mix them with synthetic substances.

Organic Natural Perfume (DIY):

45–90 drops for an Eau de Parfum

20–40 drops per 200 ml of Farfalla DIY shower gel/bubble bath

1–3% dilution
10–45 drops per 75 ml of farfalla organic care oil

Facial care:
0.5% dilution
3 drops of essential oil to 30 ml of farfalla organic care oil

0.1% dilution
1 drop of essential oil per 50 ml of farfalla organic care oil

durability

Always store essential oils tightly closed, protected from sunlight and large temperature fluctuations.

  • For skin applications: use within 24 months of opening.
  • Citrus oils, conifers, tea tree: within 12 months
  • For room fragrance or in laundry detergent: usable until the expiration date.

Note regarding photosensitizing oils

  • Certain essential oils – especially those from citrus peels such as bergamot, bitter orange, grapefruit, lime, or lemon – can make the skin more sensitive to UV radiation. These photosensitizing oils should not be applied to the skin before sun exposure . For fragrance blends, body care products, or perfumes, it is recommended to use low-furocoumarin versions to avoid unwanted skin reactions.

Precautions

Specific precautions apply to people in sensitive life phases (pregnant women, children, and people with asthma/COPD, allergies, epilepsy, or other special needs). Please consult the relevant specialist literature.
